Kristen specializes in staff training and supervision, challenging behavior reduction, Verbal Behavior programming, and toilet training. Kristen’s interests lie in Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) and professional development and training. Kristen has worked in the field for 10 years and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all individuals served.

Kristen is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Specialist in Pennsylvania. Kristen received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from Millersville University in 2008 and her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Saint Joseph’s University in 2011. Kristen became board certified in 2012. Before rejoining the Exceptional Learning team in October 2017, Kristen worked at Melmark, an approved private school in Berwyn, PA, for 5 years. During her time at Melmark, Kristen was promoted from her initial role as a Behavior Analyst to the role of the Assistant Director of Educational Services. As the Assistant Director, Kristen supervised and trained Behavior Analysts and Special Education Teachers, ensured best practice with academic and clinical programming by developing systems for quality assurance and treatment integrity, chaired bi-weekly review meetings as a Senior Clinician, and oversaw all staff discipline and corrective action within the education department. Prior to joining Melmark in September 2012, Kristen worked as a consultant for Exceptional Learning. Kristen is thrilled to be back to her “roots” at Exceptional Learning, this time in a leadership role.
